What Is TALYSCENA?
TALYSCENA is a collection of browser-based counting tools for everyday activities. It helps turn individual actions — a completed row, an arrival, a finished stage — into records you can review and understand.
Start with a simple count on the homepage, or choose a dedicated workflow when your question involves categories, rates, stock changes, or progress through stages.
What We Offer
The 12 counting tools cover different questions, rather than treating every task as a single total:
- Quantities and movement: Multi-item Counter, In & Out Counter, Stage Progress, and Inventory Variance.
- Patterns and results: Quality Inspection, Success Rate, Category Frequency, and Time Intervals.
- Progress and review: Goals & Milestones, Session Comparison, Weighted Scores, and Count Reports.
The 12 life scenes provide workflows for knitting, moving, decluttering, event attendance, household inventory, practice, craft projects, collections, queues, guest check-in, reading, and gardening.
For practical explanations, explore 12 original guides and 8 fictional worked examples. Examples let you inspect the inputs and calculations before choosing to create an independent record.
How It Works
Choose the tool or scene that matches what you want to measure, then enter your starting values and record changes. Results are calculated from saved operations, so the quantities, units, and denominators you choose matter.
Review operation history to understand corrections and the basis for a total. Where supported, Undo reverses the latest effective operation while keeping its history. Count Reports can help you select and export results; available outputs depend on the tool. CSV and read-only report JSON are for reviewing or sharing results, not restoring a workspace.
Who It Is For
TALYSCENA is for people who want a practical record of personal projects, household supplies, reading, practice, or event activity. You might need a quick tally for one task or a structured record that explains how the result changed over time.
You do not need an account. Records belong to the browser you use; TALYSCENA does not provide shared online workspaces, live collaboration, or automatic synchronization between devices.
Your Data & Privacy
Personal records and their operation history are saved locally in your current browser using IndexedDB. The counting features do not automatically send those records to a server. Loading the website still involves requests to its hosting provider; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Browser storage is not a permanent backup. Clearing site data, changing browser profiles or site addresses, private browsing, and storage removal can make saved records unavailable. Keep separate JSON backups of records you need.
Backup & Restore lets you export a supported JSON backup and review it before restoring. A workspace restore replaces the current workspace; a single-record restore creates an independent copy. The automatic safety snapshot keeps only one previous workspace generation and can be replaced by a later restore or workspace archive. It does not replace an external backup.
To move records to another browser or device, transfer the backup file yourself and restore it there. Local records and backup files are not encrypted by the app and may contain names or other details you entered. Store them carefully and review their contents before sharing.
